I approach YOU, as my client in a holistic way, which means that I look into your overall physical and mental health. Together not only do we explore a clean, whole food way of eating, tailored just for you, but also we look into other areas of your lifestyle and connections between them, like for example: do you have a stressful job or relationship that makes you overeat or eat lots of junk food? Or maybe due to that stress it is hard for you to lose weight, that you have been trying to, for so long? Or you might have sleeping problems and feel constantly tired and unmotivated? Or your energy levels are low and that prevents you from any kind of physical activity?
During the coaching program we work together to understand what is that your body really thrives on and what does not serve it anymore. We explore what foods make you happy and energised, so you feel better, but also what other lifestyle choices improve the quality of your overall mental and physical well-being.
The approach to each client is unique.
First, we work together, for you to set health goals of your choice, such as for example: losing weight, increased energy, improved digestion (dealing with bloating, reflux, abdominal pains, sensitivities to foods and others), physical activity routine, better sleep, reduced cravings, etc.
Then, we work hand in hand, where I mentor you, guide you, support you and hold you accountable for achieving the set goals, by suggesting and implementing slow and sustainable changes in your lifestyle, in an atmosphere of motivation and inspiration.
No more restriction diet and counting calories. Just education and deeper understanding of how your body works, what food it needs and thrives on, as well as tips on improving overall physical and mental health, including healthier and happier relationships, a more rewarding and satisfying professional life, self-care and relaxing techniques.
I implement into my coaching, the principles I learned at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, that I graduated from, where we were educated about more than one hundred dietary theories and studied a variety of practical lifestyle coaching methods. Drawing on this knowledge, I help you create a completely personalised “roadmap to health” that suits your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and goals.
The mission of IIN (Institute of Integrative Nutrition) is to play a crucial role in improving health and happiness, and through that process create a ripple effect that transforms the world.
Some of the IIN unique nutrition theories are focused on:
1. Primary foods
What really feeds us is: relationships, physical activity, career and spirituality.
What is on our plate comes as a secondary food and is only a part of our overall health and happiness.
2. Bio-individuality
“One person’s food is another person’s poison”
IIN’s health coaching puts stress on understanding individual needs.
A diet for each person, should be unique just for them.
3. Integration of around 100 different dietary theories, but still a way of eating based on the individual.
The best diet is the one tailored just for you, by listening to your body and observing how it reacts to what it is exposed to.
4. Crowding out
It is best and more sustainable to start adding good foods in, first … rather than taking out everything.
5. Deconstructing cravings
There is always a hidden reason for a craving. It is a signal from our body that we need to learn to read. It is our body talking to us and we need to pay attention to it and act upon it accordingly.
As a trained yoga teacher and a yoga practitioner of almost 20 years, I also use the knowledge and experience I got through those practices to help people support their healthy choices and lifestyle and to give them tools and increase their awareness to deal with everyday challenges.
